Eric Dean Rasmussen teaches literature, theory and cultural studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago He co-edits ebr, one of the oldest online literary journals. A specialist in modern and postmodern fiction, his research interests include aesthetics, ideology, and subjectivity; media studies cybercultures, and the digital humanities. He is currently working on Senseless Resistance, a book-length study of affect and materiality in postmodern American fiction.
